How to wear a long kimono jacket year-round
There’s nothing we love more than a kimono jacket for elevating your look and bringing you confidence. They’re oh-so-dreamy and we really can’t get enough of them. And we know our customers feel the same.
We’ve taken a deep dive into our short-sleeved kimonos before but did you know our long-length duster kimonos are just as gorgeous and are perfect for summer wear too? In fact, our long kimono jackets can actually be worn year-round.

Wear a long kimono with wide-legged pants
A long kimono and wide-legged pants are a match made in heaven. There’s something ultra elegant about a flowing silhouette, and this combination is great for both summer and winter wear.
In summer, you can easily opt for a lighter silk fabric kimono and a short-sleeved top or Bandeau underneath. And when it comes to wide-legged pants: they’re perfect at catching the breeze!
But in winter? Match your wide-legged pants with a long-sleeved shirt and a kimono with thicker material, or even double down with a heavier overcoat over top any kimono, and you’ll be snug and stylish in no time.

When it comes to rocking a long kimono look year-round, denim really is your best friend.
Not only is denim super cute and on-trend every month of the year, it’s also super easy to swap and change depending on the season.
For example, in summer you can match a pair of denim shorts with a breathable crop or Bandeau and your long kimono will help protect you from the sun (and elevate a pretty standard beach vibe!).
But in winter, chuck on your denim jeans, a pair of boots, a long sleeve shirt, and a thicker long kimono and you’ll be in LOVE!
And don’t forget: this look will work in ANY COLOUR denim and will create the same effect with a denim skirt too. (Maybe you can match the denim skirt with some stockings in winter and go for a super cute look!)

One of our favourite ways to style a long kimono for both warm and cold seasons, is to keep in mind that you can use one long kimono in two very unique ways.
The first, and more obvious way, is to wear your kimono as a long jacket that provides warmth over your regular outfit, and is also thin enough to wear under a heavier overcoat.
But if you want to rock the exact same kimono as a summer item without having to change much at all? A simple belt can save your life.
